You'll never see it coming

March

Cleaning graters is not so easy
Banana wafers
Typische grocerien
Seeing these machines reminds me of ALGO!
Breakout is really, really hard.
Shut up, baby- I know it
Finally tried the AYCE chicken at tempelier. They weren't terrible, but I wanted fried chicken.
Gifts from München~
On the back it says something like "Ich war da bei!" but I totally wasn't
Interesting stall in town
I want to see if this place is any good

Cool shop
I really like this froj

Finally bought some Jewish wine, but I was really disappointed. It was really not as good as the one I had during the hummus night

I'm not a Guinness guy.
Apparently this is the best place to get currywurst here. It's whatevs to me, though.

These things scare the hell out of me. Only bad things can happen.
Farmer's market on the weekends
"Real" bread. A bit more pricey. I can't tell too much a difference from what I usually buy.
Egg is considered a vegetable here.
I asked if they had cheddar, and they said no. But I just saw it here. I swear my German isn't THAT bad.
Finding Dory sucked. Beluga was cool, though.
I eat bread with my eyes, not my stomach.

So lecker
Eating like this was a new experience
I'm trying to cut down on Mensa
The start and end of my voice acting career
Graduate building has a shower.

I bought a cheap controller to try to play games on it, but this is a pretty shitty controller. You can't really go cheap on these kinds of things.
I'm not going to try these.
I wonder if Germans have seen Old Boy.

Otaku Lounge sells MH Stories amiibos, but the game isn't even localized, yet...
Balkon lunch with roomie.
I overcooked these a little, but still tasty. The mustard really goes well with weißwurst.

Thanks for the burrito, but this is not the same as I get at home.
Euromex filling
House party

April

So many old games!

Not sure what I expected, but I was disappointed they didn't sell any neo geo controllers.
I really liked the battle mechanic in this game. At least, at the time.

Kid's world. It's a big indoor playground that also sells food.
Finally going to try the famed fleischkäse!
"How does this guy make a living?"
"I can tell you. He sells asparagus."
The food area is like Costco. I like it.
This place is huge! So much merch here.
Holy crap that fleischkäse is T H I C C. Taste-wise, kind of boring, though. It's bologna. I didn't put any mustard or anything on it, but I wish I had.
Frikadeller. This was moist and tasted much better than fleischkäse.

#justsaarlandthings

Yeah I judge drinks by their bottle. How else am I supposed to judge them?
Do these actually taste like salty pretzels? I'm not finding out.

These were interesting, but I wouldn't get them again.
These were a bit worse than I expected.
My first wine tasting event!
There was a huge line outside, and totally worth it. It was something like 17€ for all-you-can-drink wine tasting. Lots of different stands aus der Region. It was a lot of fun! There is no way to not be snobby. I don't know much about wine, but after drinking a lot, I found out what kinds I liked. If you're curious about wine and haven't tried enough of it, definitely check out wine tastings near you.
The seats and standing tables are stacked pallets.
Even a DJ playing on top. After 20 pours, I was DONE with wine.
To get to the restrooms, you walk down a long corridor underground.
Rigatoni is a thing here. I don't think I'll ever understand.
Local sm4sh tourney.
Now this I can get behind.
At By Papa, ask for the chilisoße.
There were just okay.
MAYOO. Also, buy real sriracha, not this CHEAP IMITATION.
Brot
When I read "crystallized pineapple" in the Chronicles of Narnia, I thought of Turkish delight.
These were really good.

I wish I had balance, but I don't. Tightrope walking is SO HARD. I couldn't do it alone.
