We're going up these scalinis.

I love parapets, embrasures, murder holes. These are just windows, though.

No handles. It's quite narrow, and short enough for me to push my hands against the ceiling.

In the middle, you can take a break, but you pretty much go up and then go straight down.

I'm not really impressed with the meat dishes here. I'd rather buy more pasta instead. It's pretty easy to be vegetarian here.

I'm still going for fruit flavors, and still lovin' it.

Good choice with the coffee + stracciatella granita

We're off to a tour of the countryside! We spontaneously decided to head into the countryside with a bus tour. Of course we'd go on a tour where we can do some wine tasting.

The offerings were pretty meager. This one was not as generous as some German ones that I've been to, who are happy to serve you lots of h'orderves and even extra servings of wine.

Greek olive oil is still better.

This is like the 25-year old balsamic vinegar or something? It was definitely tasty, but we didn't buy any.

Very cute, small town.

It's very quiet and peaceful on top of the walls. You feel the wind blowing and watch the trees wave at you.

We actually had to pay to go up on the wall, but the ticket also included admission to the armor museum. This place was way cooler than we expected, but our expectations were also really low.

You can put on some stuff, and that was really fun.

He looks so cool with that glove.

This thing made me feel seriously cool. I would love to buy a swaggy glove like this.

Our tour guide was not very good, and the last place we went to wasn't very interesting- it wasn't organized. At least we can eat now.

This panna cotta with chocolate sauce was pretty good.
